Sci-Fi
Sci-Fi
Franchise and fictional subjects — screen-accurate ships and vehicles from film and TV, built to the same standard as everything else in the workshop.
M577 APC
33in — Illuminated 3D-printed build with full interior — Aliens (1986)
The Colonial Marines' armoured personnel carrier, built big. At 33 inches long it's a monster on the bench. Every hull and interior section is printed and has now been dry fitted, so the build is properly under way.
The inside is as much the job as the outside: the crew compartment, the consoles and the floor are all there, and the interior will be lit. The finish is going back to the full-size vehicle from the film for reference, with the markings to match: 542, GMTS, 2D and SULACO.
USCSS Nostromo
2ft — Fully illuminated 3D-printed build — Alien (1979)
The Nostromo is dry assembled and the engine assemblies are already into early painting and weathering, so the build is under way. A single piece: once it's commissioned, it's gone.
The Nostromo was never a clean ship, and it won't look like one. Heavy industrial, screen-referenced weathering and a custom LED and fibre optic loom, with the finish, lighting and display all discussed with you as the build goes on.
Klingon Bird of Prey
2.5ft wingspan — Fully illuminated 3D-printed build — Star Trek
A big one. The Bird of Prey is dry assembled and has its first coat of base colour on, so it's already a proper presence on the bench at 2.5ft across. The build is under way, and it can be commissioned at any time.
Commission it now and it's yours: the finish, lighting and how it's displayed are all discussed with you as the build goes on. The plan is a faded, screen-inspired hull, a red underside, illuminated engines and photon tubes, and a custom flight stand so it sits banking as if mid-flight.
Imperial Star Destroyer400 Fibre Optics — Custom Lit Build
This one wasn't a commission. It was a challenge — and a labour of love.
The iconic Star Destroyer from Revell, transformed with 400 individual fibre optic strands running through the hull. Every navigation light, every running light, every point of detail across the superstructure — all lit from within.
The base features a custom laser-cut Imperial crest in acrylic, with a dedicated light source illuminating it from below. The result is a display piece that works just as hard in the dark as it does in daylight.
Hoth AT-ATBattle of Hoth diorama
A full snow-battle base build — AT-AT walker weathered and frosted, downed snowspeeder tangled in tow-cable at its feet.
Millennium FalconHeavily weathered build
Rust streaking, panel fading and scorch marks worked in across the hull — built to look like she's flown a thousand runs, not just off the shelf.
